POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position is responsible for acquiring and expanding both residential and commercial market presence through the crafting of marketing materials, sales plans and strategies.   This position will also engage in direct sales and coordination of service installation procedures to ensure that the customer experience is an efficient and smooth process. 

 

 

II.   REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

 

A. Reports to: General Manager, C2FI
 

B. Supervises: Service Representatives  
 

                                                  

III.  MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

A.    Work closely with Service Representatives to maintain an aggressive yet achievable revenue growth rate.

 

B.     Train all employees on appropriate customer engagement in order to best represent C2FI and promote it's product and services.

 

C.     Ensure customer satisfaction through customer surveys, follow up and other methods to promote a positive image of C2FI.

 

D.    Generate strategies and promote growth rate goals with all employees.

 

E.     Analyze competitor services and prices and provide updates to General Manager.

 

F.      Develop special products and services for unique customer needs and present to General Manager for approval.

 

G.    Design and create marketing materials and content to inform employees and potential customers of C2FI's culture, products and services.

 

H.    Research, develop and recommend resources and contractors to build a successful online presence through social media, the C2FI website and other relevant outlets.

 

I.        Oversee C2FI's interaction with outside organizations through press interviews, information releases and local leadership engagement.

 

J.       Observe all safety rules and regulations.

 

K.    Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

 

 

 

 

IV.           INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

 

General Manager:  Work closely with General Manager to provide updates on connects, marketing strategies, goals, market activity, work assignments and other related matters.
 

Vice President of Marketing & Development:  Work to align C2FI marketing strategies with ongoing FECC campaigns to ensure consistent messages are being conveyed to members and customers through the FECC/C2FI website and all social media platforms.  Coordinate with FECC Marketing department during outages to convey outage restoration information during emergency situations as required.
 

C2FI and FECC senior staff: Work closely with C2FI and FECC senior staff to attain the goals that have been set for this position.
 

All Employees:  Work with all employees and personnel on various services and activities.
 

President/CEO:  Reports to President/CEO in absence of C2FI General Manager.
 

 

 

V.        EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

 

            A.  Electric Cooperatives and Fiber Subsidiaries:  Maintain good relations in all contacts.

 

            B.  Outside contractors and vendors.

 

C.  Community leaders and local organizations. 

 

D.    Customers:  Provide exceptional customer service relating to all matters concerning C2FI.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

 

 
VI.       POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 

                EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

 

            EXPERIENCE

Three to five years of experience in sales and/or marketing is preferred. 

 

            JOB KNOWLEDGE

Should be able to quickly develop a working knowledge of Cooperative procedures, practices and policies.  Must be able to perform the core elements of the position competently, following a training period not to exceed 90 days.

 

 

            ABILITIES and SKILLS

Should be skilled in meeting and dealing with public.  Must be able to effectively communicate technical information both orally and in writing.  Ability to set and achieve goals without intervention or feedback.  Excellent organizational skills are required.  Should have strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and skilled in all Microsoft Offices software.   Must possess a valid driver's license. This is a safety sensitive position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety or other people's safety.

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office conditions with some irregular hours and travel required.
